Staying connected with Family & Friends

I have to admit that I'm not the best at keeping in touch with the people who are important to me as much as I would like to, I feel that if I just send a text, facebook or email someone I can bypass the human contact that we all really have grown away from. I love the simplicity of just sending a quick message via internet or text on my own time, but I also feel that I'm missing the good ol days when I would chat it up with a friend on the phone or meet up in person. I have made a conscious effort to be more in the physical for family & friends even though I may be a very busy bee.....I can make that time for the the people who are important in my life, no excuses!!! Sometimes I just have a busy week, so I have even started writing letters & cards and sending them out to family & friends periodically to surprise them and put a smile on their face. I don't know about you, but I love receiving things in the mail besides bills & junk mail! It's time to make a difference in our life with others, so one day we don't look back and say......I wish I would have made more time for them! Also, we need to teach our kids, nieces & nephews the value of verbal & physical communication.....I don't want to see my kids grow up not knowing how to communicate in the physical world because they only know how to text, myspace or facebook. Take charge, so you don't have any regrets later........and enjoy every moment as it presents itself to you! Create a beautiful week
