Where did November go?

Today is the last day of the month, I must have fell asleep under an apple tree or maybe I was still adjusting to being back from my cruise. For those of you who didn't know that I went on a cruise, I have to tell you that it was so much fun and you should try it if you haven't already! It really feels like your on vacation when you port out on the big boat into the deep blue ocean away from reality for a 5 night 4 day journey . I truly let go of all my daily responsibilities and only worried about what I was going to be indulging myself in on the cruise....food, shows, dancing, a little drinking, sleeping and more! The cruise line I took was carnival paradise, I was told this is a good starter cruise before you decide to go on a more extravagant cruise line.......if that was a good starter cruise, I'm looking forward to the next one I go on because I felt like a princess every day I was on that ship! Just a little advise, don't count calories and take the stairs everywhere you go!

As for November sneaking by me, I did enjoy thanksgiving with my family and I also really gave thought to what I am truly grateful for in my life today. I hope that you also gave thought to what your grateful for also besides an awesome massage from me....lol...only joking! ;)

Before tomorrow comes and we are in the hustle and bustle of the Christmas count down....please take at least 30 minutes a day to do something to relax yourself so you don't age yourself 5 years this month.....example: go for a walk, take a hot bath or jacuzzi, read a good book, write down your goals for the next day or journal about your day....have some hot tea or apple cider and sit out front of your house and observe your neighborhood....I have so many ideas, but you will have to be creative within yourself to what makes you calm. Please don't forget what the holidays are really about............spending time with the people we love, not about how much money we can spend! Everyone needs to pitch in and create a good atmosphere to create good memories with friends and family. Bake together, play games, have an outdoor activity that everyone can participate in and get a little exercise...or everyone agree on a family movie to watch and make some popcorn....get creative people and you will create sweet memories this holiday!

Look forward to seeing you for your next appointment........happy holidays, take care and stay warm & healthy! Hugs boost our immune system, so give plenty of them every day! XO

OCTOBER.....A FUN and SPOOKY month!!!

Happy October everyone!!! I love this month for several different reasons, it's finally cooling off and all the fun holidays begin......starting with Halloween!!! I love carving pumpkins and making caramel apples with the kids, and watching scary movies all month. I also love seeing the creativity in all the costumes while passing out candy to the little munchkins or big munchkins who are in high school and still love going trick-or-treating for their free candy and last chance to feel like a kid...lol!!!

Well, I'm not sure what I'm going to be for Halloween yet, but I have some ideas
.......I will have to post pics of whatever I decide to be on facebook. If your trying to save money, here are a few places you can shop to get your costume or costumes. The "Goodwill" http://www.goodwillaz.org/shop or "Savers" http://www.savers.com/

Be safe and enjoy every sight, smell and feeling of this month & holiday!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE, now watch these awesome videos I picked out just to help you get into the Halloween spirit :)

Staying connected with Family & Friends

I have to admit that I'm not the best at keeping in touch with the people who are important to me as much as I would like to, I feel that if I just send a text, facebook or email someone I can bypass the human contact that we all really have grown away from. I love the simplicity of just sending a quick message via internet or text on my own time, but I also feel that I'm missing the good ol days when I would chat it up with a friend on the phone or meet up in person. I have made a conscious effort to be more in the physical for family & friends even though I may be a very busy bee.....I can make that time for the the people who are important in my life, no excuses!!! Sometimes I just have a busy week, so I have even started writing letters & cards and sending them out to family & friends periodically to surprise them and put a smile on their face. I don't know about you, but I love receiving things in the mail besides bills & junk mail! It's time to make a difference in our life with others, so one day we don't look back and say......I wish I would have made more time for them! Also, we need to teach our kids, nieces & nephews the value of verbal & physical communication.....I don't want to see my kids grow up not knowing how to communicate in the physical world because they only know how to text, myspace or facebook. Take charge, so you don't have any regrets later........and enjoy every moment as it presents itself to you! Create a beautiful week

Finding time for yourself is crucial!

Every day that you wake up you should find time for yourself, no matter what time of the day it is....find a quite place to empty your mind and find some peace. I'm sorry, but there is no excuse for not finding time for yourself! Take a walk alone, journal, take a cat nap (20 min), get lost in a book, go for a swim.....however you like to enjoy time for yourself. The stresses of today can be overwhelming, and this is just a little way to help you cope and feel happier. I would say at least 30 minutes to an hour is a good amount of time every day for you, don't feel guilty about it....you deserve it!

Saturday massage?

I'm offering Saturday massages people, so please call soon to book your relaxing and therapeutic massage!

I'm giving $10 off a 90 minute massage if you book before noon!!!

Also, it's getting hot so make sure your hydrating well. I've been putting these drops in my water called trace minerals( I get mine at sprouts, only $10 for a small bottle), it helps us to nourish the mineral loss from sweating and filtered water has no minerals because they were striped out during reverse osmosis. Hope to see you soon!
